Aberdeen Art Gallery Micro-commissions

We are delighted to be working with Aberdeen Art Gallery on their exciting programme of micro-commissions. 

The commissions celebrate Aberdeen Art Gallery’s success as a joint winner of Art Fund Museum of the Year 2020 for which it received a share of the £200,000 prize split equally between the five UK winners.

The Art Gallery’s share is being used to support a series of small-scale ‘micro-commissions’, open to creative practitioners living in AB postcode areas.

Six local creative practitioners have been awarded commissions to create new works for Aberdeen Art Gallery’s collection and we are looking forward to working with these talented local artists to support them as their creative ideas come to life.
