May Day weekend is a time to dress up in north east Scotland. Dress up in your finest, hit the town early, let your hair down, come together, drink the day away and, often, regret it the next. But regrets don’t stop it all happening again the next year. Until this year. This year everything stopped. No one dressed up. No pubs overflowed with people pouring out onto busy streets.
